Introduction
Wunderland Kindergarten is located northwest of Friedrichshafen’s city center in the West kindergarten district and is easily accessible by public transportation. Our Kindergarden offers 70 childcare places for children aged 3 until they start school.
The name Wunderland is inspired by “Alice in Wonderland” and stands for imagination, curiosity, and the courage to explore new paths. This attitude shapes our daily educational practice.
Our partially open-concept daycare supports children in the groups Hutmacher, Teetassen und Grinsekatzen. We create spaces where children can explore, pursue their interests, and develop their personalities—sometimes calm and focused, sometimes creative, active, and full of ideas.
Wunderland is integrated into a modern new building complex. Bright, spacious rooms invite children to play, explore, and create. A special highlight is our rooftop terrace, which offers space for movement, fresh air, and small gardening and nature projects. This is complemented by a garden that provides a wide range of play and nature experiences.
Our educational team works together with commitment, appreciation, and across groups. Humor, openness, and an honest culture of communication are just as important to us as the continuous development of our pedagogical work. We meet children at eye level and understand education as a living process shaped by relationships, participation, and trust.
Wunderland Kindergarten was supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports with funding from the State of Baden-Württemberg.
We look forward to accompanying your child on their individual journey and discovering many small and big wonders of everyday life together.
